Civics Update for March 26

I assume everyone has read Mrs. Shumaker's message on LiveGrades on March 25.  All work at this point is going to use for enrichment.  That means teachers are going to assign activities that are going to be used to reinforce skills taught, rather than new material.  Not completing these assignments will not hurt your grade.  It can only help your grade.   If you are on the border of a certain grade, these activities can certainly help you out. I will continue to assign activities and enter the grades.  I will post assignments on Fridays.  Please follow the details below on how to submit the assignments.

When sharing documents through email, please change the name of the document to reflect the name of the assignment.  This will let me know what specific assignment you are submitting as well as let you know what assignment you were working on.
Also, in the subject line of emails, write what the email is about.  Again, this will let each of us know what the email is about.
If you are submitting activities through OneNote, remember to send a Remind message or email me to check specifically for the activities on OneNote.

If you are taking an Advanced Placement course, the College Board has been posting content on YouTube for different topics.

Lastly, I am going to make an emphasis on those students who are currently failing Civics.  Those students need to contact me and we will work together to remediate the grade in the coming weeks.

At this point, school closures are slated to continue until April 20.  There are wifi hotspots opening up outside of school buildings in the county if you need wifi access to download/upload data from your computer in case you do not have internet access or sufficient internet at home.

As usual, if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me through LiveGrades, school email, or Remind.
