Civics Update for February 24-28

We are moving into the last week of February.  February is Black History Month.  This week we will work on a project that will research the life of African-Americans in Government.  We will work on this Tuesday and Wednesday.

Current Events for the second half of the alphabet will be due on Monday.  This is Grading Period 4, CE#3.

Grades as of February 23 are reflective of tests not finished and Topic 7 packets not turned in.  Do not be alarmed if you do not have those two turned in.  Grades should be submitted on LiveGrades by Tuesday.

I want to thank the speaker we had in class on Friday.  There were several students asking specific questions and even some asking about doing something like that as a profession.  If anyone has a suggestion for a speaker, please let me know.
