Civics Update for September 23-27

Here is the update for the week:

Monday:

• New Preamble paper
• Current Events for the second half of the alphabet.  This is Grading Period 1, CE#2.
• Constitution Scavenger Hunt using pages 706-727

Tuesday:

• Preamble
• Chapter 2 Assessments - writing to describe details of the chapter
• Timelines of events in chapters
• Make sure chapter packet is organized for Wednesday

Wednesday:

• Preamble
• Chapter 2 Packet Test - the packet test will consist of questions from parts of the packet.  You will need your packet to answer these questions.  There will be no need to use your textbook
• Turn in Chapter packet.

Thursday:

• Preamble
• Chapter 3 Vocabulary
• Read pages 78-89 about the organization of the Constitution

Friday:

• Preamble
• Creation of Thinking Maps about the Constitution
