Civics Update for March 4-8

The second half of the alphabet will turn in Current Events Tuesday.  This will be Grading Period 5, CE#2.  Everyone has had plenty of warning to complete these.  There is no reason not to turn it in on Monday.

Here is the agenda for the week:

Monday:

• No School - Snow Day!

Tuesday:

• New Preamble paper
• Current Events
• We will review the notes from Friday
• There will be a discussion activity based on those notes.  Periods 3 and 6 may be recorded.

Wednesday:

• Preamble
• Complete activities related to groups that have been oppressed over time.
• Assignments for Mock Court Cases - will start working on them next week.

Thursday:

• Preamble
• EQ Notes 11-2:  What is meant by equal protection of the law?

Friday: 

• Preamble.  Turn in paper
• We will watch a video on Rosa Parks.  Students will take notes.
