Grafton High School will be hosting a Social Studies Fair for the first time in many years. Ms. Sheme will be the coordinator and Ms. Giles will be assisting. The event will take place after school on January 30.
You will need to select a topic and a category by Friday, November 16. Mr. Zukowski has some papers and the files were sent via school email and LiveGrades. There are 9 different categories you can select from. You can work as an individual or as a small group. There will not be time dedicated to Civics class to work on this, but you can come in during AA or afternoon. If you commit to the Social Studies fair by Friday, November 16, you will receive 25 extra credit points.
One-hundred-fifty (150)points extra credit will be given once you complete the abstract, project, and presentation of the project at the county Social Studies Fair. This will give you the month of December and January to work on the project. Ms. Giles will be available on occasion to help with your project.
