Civics Update for Week of November 5 through 9

It's finally going to be election day!  We didn't cover elections yet, but when we do, we will be able to review what happened during this mid-term election cycle.

The grading period ends this week.  If you need to turn in any missing work, you need to turn it in by Friday.  If you think you turned something in and it wasn't graded, there is the possibility that you did not put your name on the paper.  There is an "orphaned paper" folder that you can check.

There was a new schedule for Current Events distributed last week.  The first half of the alphabet will turn in Grading Period 3, CE#1 on Monday.

Here is the agenda for the week.

Monday:

  • New Preamble for the week
  • We will look at the election that will take place on Tuesday.
  • Mock Election.  A link will be sent through Remind in class and a QR code posted in the classroom.

Tuesday:

  • Vote if you are registered to vote!

Wednesday:

  • Review of the election
  • Review of 100 Days survey questions
Thursday and Friday:  The Presidency!
