Civics Update for October 22-26

Current Events will be due for the first half of the alphabet on Monday.  This will be Grading Period 2, CE#2.

If you intend to turn in reviews of the Unleash Tygart videos, they must be turned in on Monday.  None will be accepted after Monday.

Tuesday:

• Preamble
• Continue EQ Notes 5-3:  U.S. Senate

Wednesday:

• Preamble
• EQ Notes 5-4:  Bill Writing Process
• Bill Writing Activity -You will partner up to write a legislative bill that can change laws locally, in the state or nationally.  You need to be thorough in describing the process.  This will wrap up next week with committees and floor votes.

Thursday:

• Preamble - turn in
• Bill Writing Activity continued

Friday: 

• Mr. Mahon will be speaking to the class about Senior counseling information.
