Civics Update for December 4-8

***The second half of the alphabet will have Current Events due this week.
***Here is the study guide for the Semester Exam.  It will also include some vocabulary from the first semester. 

Here is the schedule for the week:

Monday:

• Vocabulary Quiz.  Twenty multiple choice questions.
• Total Recall Question
• EQ Notes 6-4 about the different offices of the White House.

Tuesday:

• Essential Question Quiz.  Here are the possible questions:
• 
  
• Study guide review.  This will be completed quickly because the answers to the study guide have been available for two weeks.
• Chapter 6 test on Wednesday.

Wednesday:

• Turn in chapter 6 packet
• Take chapter 6 test
• Work on chapter 7 Vocabulary
• Read pages 192-195 for Thursday

Thursday:

• Start with the hierarchy of the executive branch and the federal bureaucracy.
• EQ 7-1 Notes:  Who works for the federal government?
• Read pages 196-200 for Friday.

Friday:

• Turn in Total Recall Questions.
• EQ 7-2 Notes:  What are the most important executive departments.
• Read pages 200-204 for Monday.
