The second half of the alphabet will be responsible for turning in Current Events (Grading Period 2, CE #2) on Monday.
We just finished chapter 4 this past week and some students will need to finish their tests on Monday. There will be time given to finish the test.
Here are the activities for the week:
Monday:
- We will be starting the "My Day in Government" project (270 points) and you will be required to create an outline of your project before starting the project on the computer. See email for criteria and sample project.
- If students need to complete the test form Friday, time will be allotted.
Tuesday:
- Bring a cell phone to class as "3 Branches Pre-test" will be given. This demonstrates how much you already know about the three branches of government.
- We will introduce Congress in class. Remember to focus on Article I of the Constitution.
Wednesday:
- We will report to the downstairs computer lab to start working on the project.
Thursday:
- BB&T Bankers will return to the class.
Friday:
- We will work on the project using the computer cart in the classroom.
