Extra Credit Opportunity: September 17 at 3 p.m.

There will be an opportunity to earn extra credit by attending the annual Constitution Day lecture at the Mother's Day Shrine (in the basement) on Sunday, September 17 at 3 p.m.  This annual events features one speaker each year who is serves in the law or public service sector.  He or she speaks for about 30 minutes about how the Constitution makes an impact on lives and society.  There is usally a reception with light refreshments that follows.  I do not know who this year's speaker is yet.

If you attend, you will be asked to stay for the duration of the lecture.  You will need to sign in with Mr. Zukowski.  By doing this you will recieve 20 bonus points.  You could recieve 30 additional bonus points if you write a narrative essay about the event.  You would need to include aspects of the lecture we have already covered in class as well as what kind of impact the lecture had on you.  This should be about the length of a one-sided hand-written paper.  You will need to turn this in by Tuesday in class.

If there are any changes, I will let you know via Remind.
